Description
Inspired by the classic British Brown Ale, the Turbodog by Abita Brewing allows itself the only poetic license of Willamette hops (one of the oldest and most old-fashioned varieties, however): for the rest the grist of malts (British pale, crystal and chocolate) is totally UK.
Poured into a glass, it is the color of a friar's habit, with a cream-colored foam although it has a medium-low persistence. On the nose stand out notes of caramel, licorice, biscuit, red fruit and dried fruit. In the mouth it has a medium persistence, the body is medium, slightly watery. The "dear" sensations and those of toasted/dried fruit return. Low carbonation to highlight the adherence to the British imprint. The bitterness is light and refers more to the notes of the toasted malts than to the hops themselves.
How to pair Turbodog; We recommend it combined with classic British-style "meat pies".Spesso acquistati insieme all'articolo che hai selezionato
