Stars and Stripes beer. This light amber colored Ale with slight coppery reflections is dominated by a rather persistent creamy white foam. On the nose, the essential oils released by the American hops used are perceived with various nuances ranging from floral to fruity. Peach and ripe yellow fruit pulp is accompanied by the tropical mango and a citrus note reminiscent of grapefruit, a more balsamic touch emerges on the finish. On the palate, a good malted base emerges which supports the hopping, bitterness present but not covering, this is not an extreme version of APA. Its good bitter-aroma balance takes us from the initial sweet fruity to citric and citrus and then leads us to the end of the sip, leaving us with a pleasant herbaceous finish given by the generous dry hopping. The present and slim body facilitates the intake of these bold hops in massive doses.
