Description
The American brewery Abita in collaboration with the Louisiana Seafood Promotion & Marketing Board (LSPMB) announced that it has established a charitable fund, "SOS - A charitable Fund", for the restoration and rescue of the environment following the 2010 oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. 100% of the money raised by the fund is donated to charity. For every Abita SOS sold, 75 cents will be donated to this fund. It is an unfiltered Weizen-Pils, produced with Pilsner malt and wheat. It is an unfiltered Weizen Pils, made of Pilsner and Wheat malts with German Perle hops. It has a bright golden color, a sweet malt flavor and a pleasant bitter aroma.
