Description
The Wicked Tales of Scotland project (inspired by some horror stories from Celtic and Scottish folklore) is made up of 4 different beers aged in whiskey barrels from various Scottish distilleries. Black Donald is a Peated Imperial Stout, specifically, aged 8 months in Laphroaig barrels. On the nose peat, wood, tobacco, bitter cocoa, licorice, coffee, molasses, black bread. In the mouth it is full, very viscous with intense roasting that brings bitter roasted notes that go well with the final finish of wood and peat. Black Donald is a protagonist of Scottish folklore, a man considered to be the Devil himself who spread terror in Northern Scotland.
