Argo Kaori
In Japanese Kaori means perfume, and the name gives a great idea of this Pacific Amber Lager made by the Argo Brewery with the addition of Japanese hops.
Amber colored beer, it welcomes you on the nose with notes that recall citrus fruits, tropical fruit (coconut, lytchee), lemongrass and dill. We also find the pleasant fruity notes on the palate for a summer beer, fragrant and delicately bitter but balanced by a good body.
How to pair Kaori I recommend pairing it with white meats, but why not also try it with typical specialties of the Land of the Rising Sun (especially fried tempura)?
