Augustijn Blonde 75 Cl.

A Belgian abbey beer produced since 1925, Augustijn Blonde was originally brewed in the monastery of the Augustinian Fathers in the city of Ghent. Although production is now done by the Van Steenberge brewery which ferments the famous Gulden Draak among other beers, Augustijn always harks back to its monastic past to offer you the best and authentic flavors of Belgian abbey beers. Refermented in the bottle, Augustijn Blonde has a slightly amber color adorned with a crown of white foam. From here on, herbaceous and fruity hop aromas are perceived. A light scent is reminiscent of yeast, so much so that you can even notice it by nose. In the mouth we find quite hoppy flavors with very present fruity and herbaceous notes that give way to a vanilla touch of malt. An excellent bitterness emerges at the end of the tasting which reaffirms the presence of hops. The alcohol is perceptible but not excessive.
