Aviator Creataceous Black Ipa
Aviator Brewing Company in producing its Black Ipa decided to give it an unexpected boost: maturation on oak chips derived from barrels of the same name. Furthermore, the beer "undergoes" a strong dry-hoppinh. Poured into the glass it is mahogany colored with caffe latte colored foam. It is a black IPA that rewards roasting, so together with herbaceous, resin/pine and grapefruit notes, hints of coffee and liquorice stand out. On the palate it is dry and toasted with a strong resinous bitterness accompanied by the tannic notes of oak chips.
