Description
Beck's is a German brewery. The history of the brewery begins on 27 June 1873, when three men, the master brewer Heinrich Beck and the two entrepreneurs Lüder Rutenberg and Thomas May, founded the Kaiserbrauerei Beck & May o.H.G. The high quality of the beer produced brought the first recognition the following year: presented at the International Agricultural Exhibition, held in Bremen in 1874, the future Emperor Frederick III of Germany awarded Beck the gold medal.
