Description
This IPA is one of the oldest in Birranova's Whynot project dedicated to the world of bold hops. In this specific case, the beer in question is a meeting point (as suggested by the name which refers to the famous Check Point Charlie in Berlin) between the German school and the American school. In fact, the beer in question has an olfactory cleanliness typical of German low fermentations and is produced with a melange of American and German hops. Poured into the glass it is intensely golden with a beautiful cap of white foam. The olfactory cleanliness of the yeast leaves carte blanche to the hops which bring a very broad bouquet that ranges from citrus notes to herbaceous and resinous ones, up to spicy and floral notes, a sign of a perfect work of the hops. On the palate a malty attack of cereals and honey is followed by a subtle but not watery body that anticipates the powerful final bitterness. A true IPA for hop connoisseurs.
Ingredients: Water, Barley Malt, Hops, Yeast. Contains: Gluten
