Mastio Abbadia Bruna located in the splendid territory of the Sibillini mountains in the Macerata hinterland, the Mastio brewery has made the balance and elegance of its beers a trademark, which has earned it countless Italian and international awards and recognition over the years. the abbadia bruna is inspired by the abbey tradition of dubbel, in this case embellished with the exotic detail of coriander honey. poured into the glass, it has the tawny color of fox fur, while on the nose stand out notes of red fruit, caramel, licorice, dried fruit (raisins, figs) and spices - which when heated emit notes reminiscent of gooseberries. in the mouth it is full and round with a maltiness reminiscent of red fruit and caramel. how to pair the abbadia bruna we recommend it in combination with the crescia filo pastry (the Umbrian-Marche equivalent of the piadina) filled with cheeses and cured meats from the Marche tradition and with grilled red meats. awards and recognitions silver medal at the international competition in Lyon-2017
