Il mastio drum barrel the drum barrel is the jewel in the crown of il mastio's brewery production. this Belgian strong dark ale spiced with orange peel and coriander is in fact aged in barrels that have contained fine red wines from the Marche region. poured into the glass it has an intense amber color with ruby ??reflections. on the nose the notes of red fruit, caramel, spices, vinous and oxidized ones are evident. in the mouth it is full and sweet with a strong maltiness reminiscent of caramel and red fruit, dried by a final vinous acidity. contains: barley, gluten
