The name Brown Ale once designated a wide range of popular beers in England with a characteristic dark color and a clear head of foam, similar to German "Altbier" or Belgian "Dubble". During industrialization, Brown Ales refreshed after a hard day's work; in the second half of the last century however, lager beers grew in popularity. The first American Brown Ale was produced at the end of 1900. With The Brale, Braufactum achieved a symbiosis between tradition and modernity, reinterpreting them at the same time with a particular dosage.
