Description
Brewski Pike is a New England IPA brewed by the Swedish craft brewery Brewski in Helsingborg, designed for those in search of their go-to IPA: easy-drinking, aromatic and generous from the very first sip. The star of the show is Citra, an American hop variety considered a modern classic of the craft world, taking centre stage both on the nose and on the palate. Brewed with a base of pilsner malt, wheat and oats, Pike pours with the characteristic hazy, golden appearance of the finest Hazy IPAs: a velvety opacity that hints at the softness of the body and the creaminess of each sip. The aroma is an explosion of fresh citrus: grapefruit, lime and tangerine, with tropical hints of passion fruit and pineapple that blend into an intense and inviting bouquet. On the palate it is juicy and rounded, with low residual bitterness and a softness that comes directly from the oats and wheat in the recipe, true to classic New England style. The finish is clean, fruity and dangerously drinkable: it will inevitably call you back for another sip.
