Cascade Brewing The Vine 2015
Beer and wine: a trend that is now almost indissoluble for those who make Sour Beers in America (and beyond). This blend from Cascade Brewing is assembled on the basis of a Golden Ale, a Belgian Tripel and a Golden Quadrupel, all with a lactic fermentation of over 6 months in small French oak barrels. Everything is then refermented with freshly squeezed white grape juice.
Poured into the glass it is intensely golden, with medium intensity foam. On the nose notes of white grapes, tropical fruit and white fruit... followed by notes of lemon and yogurt. In the mouth it is dry and mineral, almost savory with intense fruity nuances and a final pungent lactic acidity.
