Description
Corsendonk Pater Dubbel is a dark beer called "Abbey". It enjoys a fermentation process in the bottle and a prolonged period of rest between bottling and sale on the market. Like its sisters, it stands out for the absence of a label which is replaced by a silk-screened icon of religious inspiration. Corsendonk Pater Dubbel is a beer with a mahogany color tending towards red. It gives off balanced aromas with malty, leavened and fruity notes reminiscent of peach. This well-malted Corsendonk Pater Dubbel reveals a floral and slightly acidic flavour. The medium bitterness lasts quite a long time before finishing with subtle notes of toasted and fruity malts. Enjoy it as an aperitif with the cheese of the same name!
