Description
De Ranke has contributed over the years to the rejuvenation of the Belgian craft scene. Today their beers are true classics, but when they were launched they stood out as totally avant-garde products that broke with the past. Guldenberg is a Belgian Strong Golden Ale with intense hops (but less intense than an XX Bitter) which expresses herbaceous, floral and slightly citrus notes that meet the esters produced by the Belgian yeast, rich in spicy notes and yellow fruit. Very dry, with a pleasant malty note in shades of honey and almond paste. Strong and balanced bittering finish.
