Description
De Ranke has contributed over the years to the rejuvenation of the Belgian craft scene. Now his beers are a classic, but at the time they were totally avant-garde products and a break with the past. Guldenberg is a Belgian Strong Golden Ale with more intense hopping (not at the level of their other beers such as XX Bitter) which expresses herbaceous, floral and slightly citrus notes that meet the esters produced by the Belgian yeast, rich in notes of spices and yellow fruit. Very dry, with a pleasant malty note in shades of honey and almond paste. Strong but balanced bittering finish.
