Produced since 1844 at the Ferme-Brasserie Dupont, Saison Dupont is a Belgian beer, now a true reference for the "Belgian Saison!" Produced with freshly harvested hops in late summer, this beer matures during the winter and is ready for the first months of spring! Of a golden yellow color and slightly cloudy in the bottle, Saison Dupont develops a persistent foam on the walls of the glass. It smells strongly of yeast and does not hide some slightly malty notes. As it warms up, the fruity aroma and hop aromas begin to be evident. The entrance to the palate is fruity and sweet, but is immediately followed by a bitter wave of hops that rises during the tasting. The bitterness quickly peaks before finishing with honeyed, fruity flavors that sweeten things up.
