Eastside Brewing's Sour Side Mango & Passion Fruit is a 5,2% ABV Fruited Berliner Weisse. In the glass, Eastside Brewing presents it in a slightly hazy yellow-orange, crowned by a compact white head of medium persistence. The nose is dominated by Alphonso mango and the tart notes of passion fruit, completed by the lactic and citrusy aromas created by lactobacilli and pediococci. On the palate it opens with a cracker-like entry and the gentle sweetness of mango, then the acidity emerges, where yoghurt, passion fruit and citrus chase one another without ever overpowering each other. The body is lean and the carbonation medium: an extremely thirst-quenching, easy-drinking sour, made for those seeking tropical freshness and instant drinkability.
