Eastside Brewing's Sour Side Peach & Apricot is a 5.2% ABV Fruited Berliner Weisse. Eastside Brewing presents it in a slightly hazy orange, topped by a compact, persistent white head. The nose is dominated by apricots, with peach in the background, supported by the acidity contributed by lactobacilli and pediococci. On the palate it opens with a very light entry of cracker and bread crust, followed by a lovely lactic acidity that pairs with the peaches and apricots used in dry hopping. The body is lean and the carbonation lively: an extremely thirst-quenching, easy-drinking sour, made for those seeking fruity freshness and a sip that calls for the next.
