La Mont des Cats è la prima birra trappista francese. Si tratta di una birra ambrata, dall'intenso aroma fruttato proveniente dalla fermentazione. I luppoli si riscontrano nel finale con delle note agrumate e floreali. Il gusto è rotondo ed equilibrato. I malti scuri le conferiscono un forte sapore caramellato.
