Description
Translation: Dark Night. An Imperial Stout brewed to celebrate the longest night of the year, that of the Winter Solstice. Brewed with a huge amount of roasted and caramelized malts, oats and toasted rye malt. On the nose, toasted notes of mulled caramel, molasses, plum, coffee, chocolate, liquorice, black bread and spices. In the mouth it is so dense that it is almost like a syrup, with a notable sweetness balanced however by the bitter and slightly acidic note of the toasted malts. Slight spicy finish, almost spicy given by the rye.
