Pühaste Brewery ventures into the deepest and most fascinating territory of the Baltic brewing tradition with Magnetic Domain: an Imperial Baltic Porter that carries its essence in its very name — a magnetic field of aromas, flavours and sensations that attracts, holds and refuses to let go. Like an invisible force field, this beer captures you at the first sip and never releases its grip. In the glass it pours an impenetrable ebony black, with brown and ruby highlights emerging in the light, topped by a fine, creamy hazelnut-coloured head that fades slowly with quiet elegance. On the nose it is immediately a deep and enveloping embrace: dark chocolate, roasted coffee, dark caramel, molasses and dried fruit unfold in a rich and layered bouquet, with notes of plum, fig and a delicate hint of oak that add complexity and depth. On the palate the body is full, dense and extraordinarily smooth — the lager fermentation making its most precious difference here, delivering a cleanliness and roundness that no ale yeast could replicate.
