Description
A classic Märzen from St. GeorgenBräu of Buttenheim, the largest brewery in the Bamberg district and one of Franconia's most celebrated brewing traditions since 1624. Deep amber in the glass with a rich malty nose tinged with caramel and Spalter hops. The palate adds fruity notes reminiscent of apple, apricot and orange, while a slow, gentle mashing process and a classic two-tank maturation lend the beer its distinctive mildness and roundness. The lingering finish is semi-dry and bittersweet. Brewed with the brewery's own spring water, Franconian barley malt and fine aroma hops — a seasonal gem well worth seeking out.
