Schloss Eggenberg Samichlaus Classic is a very strong beer, produced only once a year, on 6 December, matured for about ten months and put on the market for Christmas the following year. It is one of the rarest beers in the world. It improves over time as its flavor qualities become more and more complex. It has a robust body, very malty and warm. It goes well with elaborate dishes and chocolate-based desserts.
