Samichlaus Schwarzes is a legendary beer, produced only once a year, on 6 December, in the heart of Austria. This dark version of the famous Samichlaus is an intense and complex Schwarzbier, aged for ten months before bottling. With its deep ebony color and creamy hazelnut foam, it offers the nose enveloping notes of dark chocolate, dried fruit, caramel and licorice. On the palate it is warm, full-bodied and velvety, with a perfect balance between malty sweetness and the warmth of alcohol, which makes it ideal as a meditation beer or to pair with important desserts.
