Side Project Balaton
Balaton is our "Wild Missouri Brown Ale", fermented in local Chambourcin Whiskey barrels with wild Missouri microflora for over a year with Balaton cherries from Michigan. On the nose notes of dried fruit, caramel, cherries, wood, notes of leather, tobacco and cellar. On the palate, a full and sweet malted base balances and tempers the clear and vigorous acidity which is the trademark of Side Project, to which in this case the Balaton cherries also contribute in part.
