Spencer Trappist IPA (promo expires November 20th)
The Ipa was the noteworthy American brewery that can refrain from offering it in its catalogue. Not even the Trappist brewery Spencer Brewery. Obviously, being a brewery that works in the world of abbey tradition, it is an old-fashioned American IPA, far from modern excesses, with Hall hops. Pearls from Germany and Apollo and Cascade from the USA.
Poured into the glass it is golden, quite clear. The nose is a true homage and a leap in time to the AIPAs of a few years ago: herbaceous, earthy, resinous and citrus notes. The malty body is quite full and balances the bitterness perfectly.
How to pair Trappist IPAWe recommend it paired with chicken wings cooked in a beer reduction.
