Sir Veillance by Tempest Brewing is a Scottish-brewed, Australian-hopped hazy pale ale, a smooth and juicy sip that reminds us how, amid watchful drones and eavesdropping devices, something reassuring still exists in the world: a glass capable of setting everything right, if only for a moment. Galaxy and Enigma deliver an intense nose of juicy passionfruit and ripe peach, layered with red berry, white grape, and subtle tropical notes, while a base of pilsner malt, flaked oats, and torrified wheat builds a soft, rounded body with gentle oat creaminess and a delicate malt sweetness. Juicy hop character dominates the palate with low bitterness, leading to a silky, lightly sweet, and highly drinkable finish. ABV 4.8%.
