Description
The Bruery Terreux Oude Tart Reserve 37.5 Cl is a brown Sour Red-Brown produced in the United States with an alcoholic strength of 8.4%, in the style of Belgian Flemish Red Ale aged in oak barrels. This beer, selected from the best barrels in the cellar of the Californian brewery The Bruery Terreux, dedicated to sour productions with wild yeasts and bacteria, has a sour taste profile dominated by sour notes of red fruits such as sour cherries, currants and apple, balanced by sweet nuances of cherry and berries, with vinous, woody, leather and oak toasted hints. On the palate it is dry and sharp, with lactic acidity and lemon on the finish, bulky body compared to the classic Belgian versions, some acetic drift and astringency that requires pauses in drinking, while wood and wine bring depth. Contains barley and gluten. 37.5 cl format, it goes well with smoked red meats or mature blue cheeses, served at a temperature of 10-12°C in a large glass to promote oxygenation and aromatic expression.
