Description
Westvleteren XII is a Trappist beer, considered among the best in the world. It has an intense mahogany color and a creamy caramel-colored foam. On the nose, an intense aroma of dried fruit, toasted malt, caramel, licorice and light alcoholic notes emerges. The taste is also complex but with the right balance between sweet and bitter. There are slight hints of hops, notes of dried fruit, toasted malt and spices. The finish is warm, with notes of cocoa and malt.
