Description
Epica was born in the Nebrodi Mountains area, a young Sicilian brewery inspired by the mythological folklore of ancient Magna Graecia. For a young and combative reality, a beer inspired by Ares, the bloody God of War, could not be missing. This massive Stout halfway between Export Stout and Imperial Stout was born from the collaboration with Enrico Scagnoli of the Treviso brewery Acelum. Poured into the glass it is impenetrable ebony colored with a persistent cappuccino colored foam. On the nose, toasted notes of coffee, dark chocolate and licorice stand out, followed by sensations of mulled caramel and red fruit. In the mouth it is full and round, with a pleasant caramelized entry that accompanies the long drink until the finish rich in bitter toasted notes.
