Description
A project born from the desire to celebrate the brewery’s native territory. To create the beers in this range, only local ingredients are used: ancient grains, noble hops, and even the yeast blend employed—isolated by the University of Teramo—are all of Abruzzese origin. The beers are fermented and matured in barriques that once held the finest Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, and each barrel is seasonally enriched with the excellence that the Abruzzo land has to offer. This series of Farmhouse Ales is distinctly rustic, with nuances of brett, wood, and vinous notes, and a gentle, elegant acidity. In this expression, the aromatic profile and flavor are enhanced by the addition of apricots, which contribute fruity notes that lend roundness and freshness to the drink.
