Eastside Star Gazer Fusto 24 Lt. (baionetta)

Eastside Star Gazer is an 11% Imperial Stout that turns the memory of the Pan di Stelle biscuit into beer: a liquid, deeply indulgent homage from Eastside, pairing lactose to evoke cream with a generous measure of hazelnuts and a truly lavish wave of cacao. In the glass it pours black as night, crowned by a dense, long-lasting head the colour of a friar’s habit. On the nose, Eastside’s Star Gazer opens with a triumph of cacao, both bitter and sweet, accompanied by roasted barley and a note of coffee. On the palate the experience reaches its peak: a very long wave of chocolate, hazelnut and a hint of liquorice envelops the palate with an oily, velvety body. The bitterness stays in perfect balance, the sum of that from the hopping and that of the dark malts, used without restraint in the recipe, shaping a long, dark and irresistibly indulgent finish.
