Epica Polifemo Fusto 24 Lt. (baionetta)

In the creation of its hoppy beers Epica never forgets the mother tradition of the English Ipa even when it winks at modernity. The result is a "border beer" with malts and yeasts that look towards Albionic land, and hopping (even in dry-hopping) that instead winks at the States. Poured into the glass it appears amber with a creamy and persistent foam. On the nose, the meeting between the two cultures is perfect and successful: notes of caramel, red fruit and dried fruit meet the citrus and resinous ones of the best American hops. Even in the mouth the balance between the malty and hoppy notes is textbook.
