Description
Rulles Saint-Vincent is Brasserie Artisanale de Rulles' answer to a question few dare to ask: what happens when the brewing tradition of the Belgian Ardennes embraces the world of the grape? The result is a Grape Ale of rare elegance — a fascinating hybrid that belongs neither entirely to the world of beer nor to that of wine, but inhabits its own graceful space between the two. The name is a tribute to Saint Vincent, patron saint of winemakers — an explicit homage to the central role of the grape in this creation. Founded in the heart of the Ardennes forest, Brasserie Artisanale de Rulles brings to this beer all its artisan expertise and its vocation for innovation that respects tradition. In the glass it pours a luminous amber-rosé, with golden highlights that evoke both the beer and wine worlds. The head is fine, delicate and persistent. On the nose it opens with a complex and seductive bouquet: fresh and ripe fruit, floral notes, a hint of grape must and gentle spices intertwining with the character of malt and hops in a harmonious and unexpected dialogue. On the palate it is smooth, round and enveloping: the natural sweetness of the grape perfectly balances the bitterness of the hops, while the lively carbonation and medium body make every sip fresh and satisfying. The finish is elegant, fruity and persistent — with a wine-like complexity that turns every glass into an experience to be discovered slowly. A beer for those who love to cross boundaries. For those who know that the most interesting things are always born from the meeting of different worlds.
