Description
The 2024 vintage was an exceptional one: no frost, no drought, perfect ripeness. The vines of Château Puech Redon, rooted in clay-limestone soils among the Languedoc garrigue, gave their very best — enhanced by cool summer nights around 15°C, which give the wine its signature natural, lively acidity. In the vineyard, the approach is strictly organic and biodynamic: the soil is left completely undisturbed from 1st July to 31st March, allowing microbial life to establish itself over time. Every intervention follows careful observation. The goal is simple: foster natural balance. In the cellar, grapes are vinified separately. Macerations and fermentations are intentionally short — 5–7 days — to preserve the full fruit character. Fermentations are often completed in liquid phase, a deliberate technical choice to maximise freshness and fruitiness. After malolactic fermentation, part of the wine is aged in oak barrels until bottling in May 2025. In the glass, Apparente Rouge 2024 is elegant and refined: fresh, lively red fruit intertwined with beautiful aromatic complexity brought by the Mourvèdre, which defines the wine's depth and character. No added sulphites, vegan friendly.
