Description
Danielli Sottofosso is a fresh and vibrant rosè wine made from Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, and Aleatico grapes harvested early to preserve aromatic brightness, natural acidity, and balance. The grapes come from different vineyards, half planted with young vines and half with vines over 55 years old, located between 300 and 400 meters above sea level on clay-rich soils that provide structure and a strong sense of terroir. The winemaking process involves direct pressing followed by fermentation in fiberglass and stainless steel tanks, a choice that preserves the purity of the fruit and the wine’s lively freshness. The bouquet reveals bright aromas of red berries, fresh cherry, and delicate floral notes, while the palate is smooth, balanced, and highly drinkable, supported by a fresh and elegant texture. A versatile and modern red wine, perfect served slightly chilled alongside cured meats, traditional pasta dishes, and white meats.
