Domaine Gross Gold R 2020 From Riesling, Gewurztraminer and Muscat grapes grown on marl-limestone soil located in the municipality of Gueberschwihr. Heavy soil, composed of a clayey matrix interspersed with oolitic calcareous pebbles. The harvest is manual with sorting in the vineyard. The whole and destemmed grapes, meticulously selected, macerate for 28 days with the skins; fermentation occurs naturally with indigenous yeasts. This is followed by 18 months of aging in vats. It is bottled without any type of filtration or clarification. Wine that also lends itself to long aging in the cellar.
