Description
The Gelsomoro Marche Rosato IGT from the Gelsomoro winery has a bright pink color, typical of a rosé wine from the Marche, an Italian region, with an alcoholic strength of 14%. Produced from Montepulciano grapes grown in a 1.5 hectare vineyard at 150 meters above sea level, it benefits from manual harvesting in September, fermentation in stainless steel, maturation for six months in stainless steel and refinement for three months in the bottle. On the nose it offers a broad and enveloping profile, with aromas of red fruits and strawberry, while on the palate it is fresh, pulpy and structured, supported by good acidity and a persistent finish of mineral character. This drink, in the standard 75 cl format, expresses the territorial notes of the Marche through a balance between fruitiness and minerality, with indigenous yeasts and minimal additions of sulphur, making it suitable for service at 12-14°C in medium glasses to enhance its freshness. It goes well with grilled fish dishes, roasted white meats or medium-aged fresh cheeses, maintaining a versatile profile for horeca contexts or daily domestic consumption.[1][2][3][6]
