Sete Viticcio is a red wine that reinterprets Lazio's tradition with a vibrant, contemporary spirit, born from the meeting of Sangiovese and Camaiola grapes grown in Contrada Lago dei Vignali, in the municipality of Priverno, on vineyards with an average age of 50 years facing southeast, where clay and silty soil with slight traces of sand and limestone gives the grapes character and minerality. 2024 brought climatic challenges that slowed the ripening of some red grapes, and rather than forcing nature's hand the producer chose to listen to it, turning lower sugar content into a strength: the result is a vibrant, carefree red with remarkable freshness and juiciness. The winemaking process reflects this philosophy in every detail, with destemming followed by gentle pressing of the grapes and a brief two-day maceration to preserve the fruit's brightness intact, while fermentation and aging take place entirely in steel to maintain a crisp, clean and direct profile.
