Vinified in steel with two days of maceration on the skins, spontaneous fermentation by indigenous yeasts, pressing with a vertical hydraulic press. Nine months refinement on fine lees. The latest addition to the Bertolino family, a white from Grillo grapes, comes from the youngest of the family's vineyards located in the cradle district of Busala, which has always been renowned as the "cradle of viticulture" thanks to its rich calcareous/clayey soils which manage to keep the roots of the vines cool during the torrid Sicilian summers. In the same way as the author of the serenade of the same name written for his wife Alfonsa, through Nicuzza the two brothers express love, passion, joy, pain towards their territory, a mixture of nostalgia and feeling that makes the bond with their own land, their beloved Sicily, stronger.
