Description
Rich, smooth and full-bodied, Gosling's Blackseal is a blend of Bermuda rums obtained from the original recipe handed down for centuries by the Gosling family. It is the most famous dark rum in the world and in the 19th century it was sold loose directly from the barrel and its name was simply Blackseal, or black seal, which is now the image on the label.
Drinking a pure dark rum is not easy and is an undertaking suitable for true connoisseurs, but Blackseal can also be used for the famous grog, the pirates' drink, by adding boiling water, lemon zest and cinnamon.
