Connemara Peated Single Malt Irish Whiskey 40%
Connemara Peated Original is the only Irish single malt and currently also the only peated whiskey made in Ireland. Released in 1995, it won many fans of peated Scotch whiskeys thanks to its particular character with sweet and fruity notes that balance the peat smoke.
The nose is elegant with notes of malt and liquorice and a light smokiness. On the palate it is creamy and balanced with fruity notes and hints of peat. The finish is rather long and balanced.
