Description
Bavarian whiskey SLYRS Single Malt finished at least 12 months in Oloroso Sherry barrels. The Oloroso Sherry variety is a fortified white wine from Andalusia that leaves wonderful notes of fruit and wood in its aging barrels (450–500 litres). The Bavarian single malt SLYRS filled in these barrels therefore has about a year to absorb these aromas from the wood. Oloroso sherry is a very dry variety that gives the whiskey leathery, earthy undertones. The result is an aromatic single malt whiskey with the bouquet of a good sherry, a unique spirit that reveals its flavor to maximum effect when tasted and drunk slightly below room temperature.
