The Torres family has owned vineyards in Penedès (Catalonia) since the 17th century and in 1870 the wines produced in their vineyards were already exported to Europe, Cuba and Mexico. With 1600 hectares of property planted with the best Spanish and European noble vines, Torres is currently the largest exporter of Spanish DOC wines, present in over 120 countries around the world. The Torres family also owns 350 hectares of vineyards in Curicò (Chile) and 60 hectares in Sonoma (California), where wines of the highest quality and international prestige are produced. Alcohol content: 13, 5% vol.
Age of the vineyard: 16/36 years.
Type of fermentation: in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Temperature of 28/30°c.
Month of bottling: November.
Aging: 6 months in American oak barrels.
Comments: intense ruby color with ocher nuances.
It presents rich and complex Mediterranean aromas with exuberant notes of blackberries and spices.
On the palate you can see its velvety tannins with elegant notes of liquorice and berries. woodland (blackberries and currants).
Serving suggestions: superb with roasts, game and traditional Mediterranean dishes.
