The Torres family has owned vineyards in Penedès (Catalonia) since the 17th century and in 1870 the wines produced in their vineyards were already exported to Europe, Cuba and Mexico. With 1600 hectares of property planted with the best Spanish and European noble vines, Torres is currently the largest exporter of Spanish DOC wines, present in over 120 countries around the world. Alcohol content: 11, 5% vol.
Age of the vineyard: 16/21 years.
Duration of fermentation: 2 weeks.
Type of fermentation: in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Temperature of 15°c.
Month of bottling: from 21 November onwards.
Comments: elegant and fresh aroma, with exquisite fruity notes enhanced by a hint of spices.
Harmonious and rich on the palate with numerous hints of fruit (apples and pineapple) and a touch of spices (fennel).
Serving suggestions: excellent with rice, fish and shellfish dishes. It goes very well with smoked salmon.
