S-brock German low fermentation, this double malt with a ruby ??red color immediately teases with its characteristic fine and compact foam, dense and cream-colored due to the use of dark malts. the strong contribution of malt is immediately evident, as it should be. light notes of roasted coffee emerge on the nose, attributable to maillard products extracted during the drying of the malts, followed by warmer hints such as hazelnut and dried fruit more generally. continuing with the tasting we find, what was anticipated by the sense of smell, also in the taste. sweet entry and light toasting which on the palate is very reminiscent of the cereals used to make black bread. followed by warmer and fruitier notes, hazelnut and caramel, hints that envelop the mouthfeel, which can be defined as silky given the full and round body of this beer. long and persistent taste with a post-olfactory sensation that reflects the roasting part. a slight heat denotes the alcoholic hint, so much substance that inevitably calls for important culinary accompaniments but without having to give up the second mug!
