Nicola Perra of Barley loves beers that, while not sacrificing elegance, do not sacrifice drinkability, and Blond Ae Tuvi Tuvi is a perfect example of this. Already enchanting to the eye, thanks to a creamy and adherent foam that dominates this liquid gold poured into the glass, it strikes the nose with citrus notes of cedar and lemon, fruity notes of ripe apricot, intense oriental spicy notes of cardamom and sandalwood, accompanied by clear earthy hints of liquorice roots and floral notes of elderberry and chamomile, thanks to the melange of the hops used: the British Challenger and the Polish Marynka, both grown in Belgium in Poperinge. Intense flavors of elderberry, ripe apricot and suggestions of tropical fruits emerge on the palate. It finishes dry with a long, bitter and refreshing aftertaste of resin, grass and citrus peel.
