Description
Sei Bello is the Hazy Double IPA with which the Free Lions brewery closes 2026 in style, the year it celebrates its fifteenth anniversary. After a series of one shot releases offered over the course of the months, Free Lions chose to brew a rich Hazy Double IPA together with a few friendly breweries with whom it has shared a stretch of the road: Hilltop, Jungle Juice, Rebel’s, Radiocraf and Eastside. From this company comes 6BELLO, a beer that tells the story of an anniversary through the collaborations that made it special. The hopping entrusts its character to Strata and Nectaron, while oats and Hazy Heaven yeast build a pleasantly hazy appearance and a silky, full mouthfeel. On the nose, Sei Bello opens with notes of peach, strawberry and gooseberry, supported by a light resinous and balsamic backdrop. On the palate the entry is fairly sweet: the softness of the oats melds with fruity notes of strawberry and stone fruit, then the sip turns to a gradual, elegant bitterness of medium intensity that realigns the taste and masks the substantial 8% ABV with great ease. A rich, convivial Hazy Double IPA, made for raising a glass to fifteen years of road and to those who traveled it together.
